My name is Paula Prikryl. I am a Pre-Kindergarten teacher at the Aspen Country Day School. One of the highlights of our year is when Jill comes to our school and reads the Frazer books to my students and the older children. Afterwords she opens it up for questions. The children almost always want to know how she comes up with the plots and what is involved in writing and publishing a book. It would not be Spring in my classroom without Jill her dog Maggie and the Frazer Stories.

ReplyDeleteOUR NON PROFIT ORGANIZATION: LES DAMES D'ASPEN, INVITED JIL SHEELEY, A LOCAL BEST-SELLING AUTHOR TO SPEAK AT OUR DINNER EVENT.
JILL SPOKE ABOUT HER CAREER AND WALKED US THROUGH THE JOYS AND PERILS OF WRITING AND PUBLISHING HER ELEVEN BOOKS.
WE HAD BOTH MEN AND WOMEN PRESENT THAT NIGHT AND JILL KEPT US CAPTIVATED.
THE QUESTION AND ANSWER PERIOD WAS SO INFORMATIVE, ESPECIALLY FOR THOSE WHO HAVE ALWAYS WANTED TO BE A WRITER.
I AM ATTACHING THE HISTORY OF OUR ORGANIZATION.
